What We Do

IMG_5739.JPG

As living historians, we portray the Sixth during the years of 1855 through 1867.  Our group was formed in 2012 in Wyoming but now stretches into Colorado, Texas, and New Hampshire. We are an organization for everyone, families, friends, and history enthusiasts alike, who are dedicated to demonstrating the life of soldiers, families, and civilians during this time. We explore the history of America, both out on the frontier and during the Civil War. Currently we do school parades, presentations, living history events, battle reenactments, demonstrations, and ceremonies, but we are always looking for new and exciting events. We love to laugh, have a great time, and remember those who came before and made this country what it is today.

Interested parties or individuals who want to live and learn and join a fun-filled, unique hobby should contact us! We are always looking for new members and will, of course, train you into a proper solider or civilian. We have lots of loaner gear for curious people seeking to just try out Civil War reenacting. We host several events every year and work hard to keep reenacting interesting, fun, and accurate. Come join us today!

We recently added a Confederate impression to our group, the 5th Arkansas Vols. "The Fighting Fifth!" Come join us as we portray the common soldier for both sides!

If you are an event organizer and you would like us to attend, please feel free to get in touch with us via our 'Contact Us' page.
